Outpatient Endocrinologist – AdventHealth Medical Group at AdventHealth Waterman (Tavares, FL)

AdventHealth Medical Group and AdventHealth Waterman are seeking a clinically focused Endocrinologist to help expand outpatient endocrinology services across the Lake County market. This practice will launch with one physician and one advanced practice provider, with an emphasis on general endocrinology and diabetes care.

You’ll be supported by the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute, dedicated to improving the lives of people with diabetes through clinical excellence, education, healthy-lifestyle promotion, and research focused on prevention and cure.

  • Outpatient general endocrinology with a strong focus on diabetes

  • Outpatient only (no inpatient responsibilities)
  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • EPIC EMR
  • Shared practice call

AdventHealth Waterman is located in Tavares (Lake County), about 35 miles northwest of Orlando. Lake County offers a relaxed lifestyle with access to more than 1,400 lakes for fishing and water sports—within 90 minutes of Orlando International Airport, area attractions, and both the East and Gulf Coast beaches. Average temperatures are around 70°F, with summer highs in the 90s and winter lows in the 50s–60s. Nearby communities include Lake Mary and Winter Garden.
 

Job Requirements

  • Fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
  • Active ABIM board certification in Internal Medicine and board certified or board eligible (within five years of training completion) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism
